Your home is absolutely stunning!!! Your taste is impeccable, and I love all of the pink and gold accents. I have to ask where you got the pink printed drapery in your kitchen? LOVE. Thanks for putting it all in one place for us to ooh and aah over :)

Your home is gorgeous! Loving all the beautiful details especially those ornate gold door handles! I love love love your window treatments in the family/living room.... do you mind sharing some info where you got the long gold rod from? I have a similar wall of windows in my family room and looking for a good source! Wish you had some more zoomed out pics of your kitchen ... I'm dying to see a picture of the whole thing cuz all of these just seem like teasers ;)

Wow, nice work. your house is absolutely beautiful. I love all the details, decor, and pattern in it. I have to say the drawings on the wall are very nice, they make me want to draw! But i have to ask, the stone chair in your living room, where is it from?

I need some good frame sources. I'm a huge fan of collecting interesting antique store/ 2nd hand/ yard sale frames. But I need some super thin but sturdy, modern frames....much like the black ones about. Any sources?

You have so many pretty details, I'm inspired!! I think I need to go shopping for gorgeous gold and bright accents... love the feel you've created!

I know this is an older post, but I just saw the snap shots of your home and you have a very particular and strong style of course you know that (: that is very feminine and eclectic and I love the colours and how it works through the house...love your kitchen cabinets and the gold on the corners and the french glass doors and handles on it! It is beautiful ...your home, even when my personal style is a bit similar, but bit different as I try more minimal approach ... it is inspiring looking at your style!!

Your backyard is what I love! Similar to what I did to ours this spring((: not as green yet and have to change the fence too! Need more private fence... Love it! Xox

I must ask- where is the blue and red rug in your foyer from?? It is so vibrant! A true statement piece.

Christine Dovey said...

ashley nicole catherine - curtains are from a local store called House Warmings...we altered them by adding the pink silk pleated bottoms.

Courtney Deyle & Kathleen- the curtains in the kitchen are custom painted silk by Meredith Heron Design

aLena- the curtain rods were sourced through Meredith Heron Design...though I know you can get them through Designer Fabrics online...and full kitchen photos coming next month:)

decoguy- stone table is from a consignment store in Oakville, Ontario

Jessica- I buy all of my thin black frames at Michaels and sometimes paint them by hand using gold acrylic paint

Anonymous - pillows are all from Etsy- ones on bed are from here...

http://www.etsy.com/shop/milkandcookiesCanada

And the shop that sold the reverse striped ones is now closed

Anonymous- the rug is vintage from a wholesaler in Toronto named Amadeo

Thanks everyone for such sweet comments...means the world to me:)

Wow, what an amazing home, everything is so interesting and artistic. I love the fact that even your furniture isn't boring, but beautifully carved and upholstered - I love the pink sofa. Furniture is an art form in itself. I like that your home tells a story, even your garden is great :O)

Wasn't your home just featured on the cover of Canada's "Style at Home"? Lovely styling and design. Congratulations! I was amazed at it in print, and coincidentally, I somehow stumbled upon your blog... Twice the pretty pleasure.

After looking at your photos, I just couldn't wait 'til my house is finished! I wanna live in a house as lovely as yours. We've hired house painters from Perth and they'll start painting our house next week. I wish they could finish it as soon as possible so I can design it like yours. I hope you won't mind if I use some of your ideas. All credits to you. Thanks!

The painting on your 7th to the last picture -- I have one like it! It's almost the same as yours, but mine was given by a friend on my 19th birthday, before he had gone deaf (I was even the one who took him to an audiologist in Perth). He creates masterpieces that, I'm sure, everyone will love. Nice house, by the way.

First, just let me say that I am obsessed with you and your home.

LOVE.

I have a wardrobe that I'm trying to cheer up a little and think that the door handles on your pantry would look amazing on it. I've tried searching but can't come up with anything even remotely similar. Have any secret sources or advice on finding something like it?

Thanks!!
