Thinking About 7...Lots of Project Stuff

I haven't done one of these in a while so, here's what's on my brain...

1. Modern Pink

You know I love pink in all forms but in my dream home scenario, I'm going white on the walls and will have one pink room just for me...an office/studio/living room of sorts and it will feel something like the love child of these babies...

2. Wallpaper- as per the above, I'm feeling like my dream house will have just a few rooms papered...powder room, kids bedroom etc.

Loving this guy...

Gold chains win.

Also, does anyone know what the gold/black number on the right is?

3. Modern Nursery
As I've told you before, my plan for #projectbaby has taken a radical turn the past few weeks.
These lovelies are inspiring me...

My new plan has lots of whites, creams and greys, with a few hits of black.
And just because I couldn't resist, the Egret lamps will be mine:)))
Now I've got to decide on the sofa issue- do I go vintage...
1960s Black and Chrome Modern Sofa
1960s Black and Chrome Modern Sofa
...or super practical CB2 number that either transforms into a bed...

...or is so deep that 5 people could sleep on it...

Thoughts please?

4. My favourite antique store Petits et Jolis, is having a HUGE sale...this is dangerous...

Photo: We're making way for more gorgeous treasures!!!
So we're having the BIGGEST and BEST SALE EVER!!!!
Come in to buy beautiful things at the sweetest prices!!!
On until the end of January...

Yes, that sign is correct.
Petits et Jolis is selling EVERYTHING in the store for 50-70% off- if you live in the GTA (store is in Oakville at 117-119 Kerr St.) you know what I'm going to say...get your ass down there friends!

The sale will run all month but if I was you, I'd go sooner rather than later.

5. #4 leads to this one...

While putting together this post, I scrolled through Petits et Jolis's Facebook feed and found this...

Is it me or is that sofa not VERY similar to the one I'm looking at for the nursery?

Calling the shop the second this post goes live...a local version would be much easier than one that had to be shipped.

Just think of it in creamy white leather.

6. #projectlittlemiss is officially DONE!!!!

I'll do a full reveal soon but for now, I have to show you the curtains that just went up..

The fabric is Schumacher's lace...we went with a balloon shade on the window...

...and panels on the closet...

My client's mom did the sewing and did an amazing job- absolutely in LOVE with how they turned out.

7. A combo of bambino and dream house...

I had my baby weight check ultrasound yesterday and little dude is already a whopping 4.4 pounds- and PS, I'm 31 only weeks - this fact is scaring me.
It's also making me realize that this dream house needs to happen- we need more space y'all...I'm about to be the mother of 4 kids!

Holy god.

Dreaming of this...

beautiful southern charm.

In black with french doors instead of the windows...or maybe white with black steel french doors...either way, THIS!

Also...sidenote- Blogger is driving me insane the past few days- the spacing is all screwed up and it keeps not saving my posts unless I ignore the 'warning' and update anyways...frustrating...please excuse the crappy smooshing of phrases:(

  1. I can't wait to see projectlittlemiss and I'm loving all of this! I definitely vote the vintage sofa, and yes, the one you found does look VERY similar! I say go for it! I just know that one day you will own your dream home (although your house now is pretty darn dreamy if you ask me!) xo

  3. Oh How beautiful, I need a pink room here! perhaps the new upstairs office. A little sanctuary just for me!

Love the ideas for the new little guy's room! Masculine in a boyish sort of way.
We have plenty of cousins who sleepover, so we would have to go with a practical couch for the boy's room.

Girls, well you know they can sleep in the same bed until forever, it's better for chatting all night long at a sleepover :)
Boy's however, like to leave some space when sleeping in the same room.

But that is the future .. you can always switch it up later!

    Enjoyed the post!

  5. 1. I'd go for the pull out couch option, but I'm a sucker for multi-functioning stuff. Either way, you've got sick taste so it'll look amazing.

    2. Blogger has been a pain in the hole, so it's not just happening to you. I've dropped a lot of f-bombs these past couple of days.

  6. I think our minds are currently on the same wavelength! The past two weeks I've been trying to nail down the perfect blushy rose shade of pink paint for our living/playroom... and of course all the furnishing in it are modern!

Oh and that first nursery pic you posted has been constantly on my mind. Love the dark floors, mouldings and modern furniture!

LOVE that modern couch and my first thought was a creamy leather - again with the same wavelength!

  9. Ooooh the couch is hard. That local one with white leather would be fab, but functionality is always great too, especially when you're talking about an extra room that could house guests!

Can't wait to see project little miss!

  11. I am so excited I am the one to tell you that the "black number on the right" is Manhattan wallpaper-3. I saw it on a friend's Pinterest board yesterday and loved it!! Another option that looks pretty similar is Deco Fabulous by Nono. Hope this helps.
