A Project Board, a Sneek Peak and a Puzzle

Hi friends.

Sorry for the late post yesterday...just the way the cookie crumbled as it were.

To make up for it, I'm VERY happy to let you know that Jamie Shop is offering up up to $500 worth of free shipping (*some restrictions apply) for B&B readers...just use promo code 'BIJOU' /sign up and shop, shop, shop away.

In other news, I'm sure you've already heard about the opening of Bailey's delicious store, Biscuit.

If not, you're a silly pants...go check it out now.

I for one am obsessed with well...EVERYTHING.

I plan on using some of her bedding for #projectbaby...and have already zoned in on this...

...and this...

...for a new project I'm working on.

As you know, #projectlittlemiss is moved to install stage...wallpaper is actually going up today and over the weekend, we secured plans for a ridiculous set of built in shelves inside the closet...so far, that space looks like this...

...but just you wait...it's going to be so so good once we're done with it...I'm actually thinking the closet might be the highlight of the whole room - fancy that.

Anyhoo...once the bedroom is complete, we're moving on to my client's son's room and then...the foyer.

Just as a little background info...the house is huge...built in the 80s, with a foyer that's two stories high with these amazing curved ceilings, a giant rounded window and those divided brass sort of french doors leading into other rooms...I'll get some before shots soon...in the meantime- imagine away.

Presently, the floor is a pine'ish' hardwood and all the walls are beige.

My plan is to panel the shit out of them...all the way up and all the way around...paint them a warm deep gray (including all the baseboards, trim and doors) and do this with the decorating shidazzle...

The whole lilac, burgundy and cantaloupe thing has admittedly, got me very excited.

I'm sort of obsessed with those chairs and well, kind of want this for myself...damn smallish house with no where left to do such things.

So...I'm hopefully going to live vicariously through my client and make this goodness happen.

I also, just to make myself feel better, might secure some burgundy velvet goodness and stick it somewhere in my abode...

I dare say I never thought I'd live to see the day when I fell hard for this colour...was pretty convinced, aside from purple and orange, that it was my least favourite  shade of all time but screw it...I want to roll burgundy sweetness.

Having thought about it now, I might also might need the lilac chairs for the foot of my bed...

I mean really- how glorious are they?

Yum.

Moving on...

In other news, I hinted at a little secret collaboration the other day and just to tease you a tiny bit more, something might be happening with this sort of thing...

Get your credit cards on the ready my friendlies.

And finally, ponder this please...

Girl coolness...

Boy coolness...

Any thoughts on what the hell I'm talking about smartipantses?

Think on that.

look at you! I'm so happy you are so busy with work. Love the paneling idea. And that green console is quite fun.

ps- its great to be a designer and do all the things we can't fit/afford in our own home!

Nice to see I'm not the only one being converted to the burgundy dark side! I literally have that exact pillow in my etsy faves right now. One difference though - I totally lie to myself and call it "wine" or "berry" . . .

Alight I just need to know. I'm too tired to think that hard. And your blog posts have just been killing me lately. I just gobble them up.

I'm loving burgundy lately! But I don't like to call it that either :) I just bought some velvet for pillows and the most gorgeous silk curtains in that color. It looks sooo pretty with pale pink and gold!

How did you find time to do all that C?? Amazing ideas and loving that orange sofa!! Where did you find it under Jamie?

Thinking of maybe ordering some wallpapers for my bathroom ;) love that wallpaper Meredith used in her office. Will have to ask her who that's from again.
